You won't worry about spilling gravy on this affordable, simple-to-make runner. Roll colorful ribbon down the length of your table and create a little drama with knots and folds.

Create a woodsy, modern mood with branches from your backyard. Just cut off any remaining leaves and trim so all branches stand at a similar height. Then paint the branches a bright color (yellow looks chic here) to add pop and place in a tall vase. Be sure to keep the branches tall so you don't block eye contact between guests.
