Celebrity Predictions 2009
Astrologer Susan Miller is known for her startlingly accurate predictions of what the stars have in store for the stars. In 2004, Susan knew that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston would call it quits in January 2005, and that Beyonce would get married in 2008. She is also on the record saying that an eclipse would make September 5, 2006 a disastrous day for Katie Couric to assume her new role at CBS. AOL asked Miller to take a look at some of this year's newsmakers and let us know what's in store for them in 2009.

Barack Obama, LEO, August 4, 1961
The coming year belongs to President Obama! He should be able to push his biggest ideas and even riskiest agenda until Jupiter leaves Aquarius (his rising sign) on January 17, 2010. He stands to make his best progress in his first 100 days in office -- Congress will give support him and, if he acts quickly, he should be very gratified with how things roll out.
Our new president will be a strong leader who thinks big. Leo will help President-elect Obama be decisive and strong in his convictions but will be balanced by his Aquarius rising, the sign of the person who is willing to submerge his ego for the good of the group and for the project at hand. President Obama's very best moments will come on or near March 26, September 19 and November 5.
On October 15, 2009, Mars, the action planet, will enter Leo, signaling the start of a new cycle. Normally, Mars stays in a zodiac sign for seven weeks, but will remain in Leo for nearly eight months, until June 7, 2010. That's extraordinary, and will give our new President something everyone wants but rarely gets: control.
Obama's Aquarius influence will help him create enormous environmental and industrial innovation. He will encourage bold research to find cures for disease. Aquarius rules social work and humanitarian efforts, which will also benefit under his leadership.

Michelle Obama, CAPRICORN, January 17, 1964
Michelle Obama had a breakout year: In 2008, all Capricorns were walking over a bridge to a new life. And Jupiter's position in her chart on Election Day suggests that the public will adore the new First Lady.
In 2009, she will be busy, as this First Lady is not likely to take a passive role. Michelle Robinson Obama was born with Saturn conjunct the moon, which makes her a serious, goal-oriented individual who needs to feel productive. Working within disadvantaged urban communities would be an ideal place for the First Lady to start. Mars' position in her chart in early '09 indicates that she'll launch a major decorating project at the White House which will occupy her full attention in the first quarter, if not longer.
In just one year from now, on January 15, 2010, a solar eclipse will herald a vast change in her life in the year ahead: Within days or months of that January 15 eclipse, Michelle will see herself in entirely new light and will make some key decisions (Nothing is ever more dramatic than an eclipse within days of one's birthday). Assuming these changes are voluntary, she might devote herself to an important charity, or she may assume a humanitarian, political or even a government role her husband chooses for her.

George Bush, CANCER, July 6, 1946
The President's post-White House years will focus on Bush family business holdings. Financially, he'll do well, despite the country's current economic prospects. He is unlikely to pursue a public role like the one former President Clinton assumed following his presidency. Indeed, family will be Bush's main focus, and there is some indication that he and Laura can look forward to the birth of their first grandchild in 2010.
The former President will find the immediate transition to civilian life fairly easy, and feel relieved to be free from public scrutiny. However, when Saturn moves over his Neptune, moon and Jupiter -- in late 2010 and 2011 -- he may become melancholy (or even depressed) about what might have been, and miss his old life. This summer, a family member, very likely a woman, may not be in good health, and President Bush will want to be attentive to her, especially near July 7. President Bush will also need to watch his own health in the next few years, as the strain of the past 24 months has been building up. Being in good physical shape will enable him cope with challenges more easily as he moves into the upcoming Saturn period.

Sarah Palin, AQUARIUS, February 11, 1964
For those wondering if Sarah Palin plans to fade from the spotlight, the answer is clear: Not a chance. The Alaska governor has an even better forecast in 2009 than she did in 2008. In fact, prospects for her near future have never been brighter. She will need to move assertively in the year ahead, for the actions she takes in 2009 will set the tone for the next 12 years. If she waits until 2010, she will have missed an important window and be out of sync with this key cycle. February is her most critical month, so she has to shape her strategy quickly.
Jupiter, the planet of gifts and luck, will visit Palin's sign for the first time since 1997 on January 5, and remain at her side a full year. Aquarius is the celestial favorite in 2009.
The lunar eclipse on February 9 may prove challenging and confusing for the former Vice Presidential candidate. It could bring to light something she didn't know about someone close, possibly her husband. Eclipses often bring news to the surface rapidly, so what comes up would likely be completely unexpected.
Her year starts strong, but once Mars moves through Leo, October 16, 2009 to June 7, 2010 she will find the going from tougher. This is the time she will need an intermediary or buffer between herself and the world to run interference as her competitors and critics will be very vocal.

Angelina Jolie, GEMINI, June 4, 1975 & Brad Pitt SAGITTARIUS, December 18, 1963
If Brad and Angelina want more children, they need to act fast. Come October 2009, Jolie's urge to have children will slow down dramatically. By the end of the year, she might want to give the six children she has now a bit more attention, an impulse which might be triggered by a small incident. Or it may be that with Saturn influencing her fifth house, she finds conception takes longer than in the past. This upcoming trend will last three years, so if they want to have the eight children Pitt has talked about, they need to get busy soon.
January 2009 would be an ideal month to conceive (if she is not already pregnant, which is a strong possibility based on her chart). Pitt's chart shows January as a terrific month to try. They are feeling very playful and affectionate: Life can't always be this sweet, so while it is, they should enjoy it!
The coming year should be a sensational one for this couple. There will be even more travel, both foreign and domestic, than last year, with many opportunities to make new friends (especially through Brad). Good health is also in store, as well as the possibility for Angelina to score a new acting role that could have her up for an Oscar in 2010, which will be a huge career year for her.

Jennifer Aniston, AQUARIUS, February 11, 1969
With the arrival of Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, in Aquarius on January 5, Jennifer Aniston will begin a decade-long cycle that will bring enormous happiness in just about every part of life -- from her career and finances to her home life and health. Perhaps most importantly, 2009 is Aniston's best year to fall head over heels in love. She should use her time carefully, for this is once-in-a-lifetime romantic opportunity.
New people will enter her life and figure very prominently in years to come. They will help her change direction quite substantially, and they will come from all walks of life, and help her in many areas. The coming year will be all about focusing on her personal desires and dreams and is the perfect time to draw up new goals. She will be able to take a few judicious risks, confidant she will be protected and know that she is no longer tied to the past.
While she was married to Brad Pitt, her chart showed she was happy. She felt no compulsion to have children, so she moved ahead with several movie roles. Pitt's chart, on the other hand, shows he was quite miserable and frustrated during the last two years of their marriage. Truly 2005 was a terrible year for Aniston, but the ones that followed weren't any fun either.
Now, Aniston is in a whole new place, and she can look forward to her wonder year, filled with fresh starts and the potential for enormous happiness. This will be her best year of her life to meet her one true love. Is it John Meyer? Certainly they are highly compatible but their bond is more about an excellent rapport and an exchange of ideas than spine tingling romance. Their time together is certainly fun, but it's unclear if it will lead to a lifelong passion.

Tina Fey, TAURUS, May 18, 1970
Tina Fay's career seemed to explode last year but 2009 should be even bigger. Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will be placed at the very highest point in her horoscope.
Fey has Jupiter conjunct the moon at birth, which practically insures an enthusiastic response from the public throughout her life. She will get many offers this year, and will be able to pick and choose among them. The "30 Rock" star and former "SNL" head writer sold a book idea in 2008, and her chart indicates that she will ace this form of writing as well. Different media require different communication skills but planets in Gemini (she has two, Mars and Venus) have blessed her with remarkable versatility. This also explains her dead-on inflection when doing impersonations.
On the day Fey was born, Saturn was precisely conjunct Mercury; the result is a talent for deep concentration and a perfectionist attitude when working on any type of communication.

Tom Cruise, CANCER, July 5, 1962 & Katie Holmes, CAPRICORN, December 18, 1978
Katie's chart is clear: these next two years are absolutely perfect years for her to have more children, if she desires. January will be her best month in 2009 to conceive a sibling for 2-year-old Suri. The window of opportunity is very narrow however, but she may already BE pregnant, which her chart indicates is a good possibility. If this is not a good time for this couple to plan a pregnancy, then they should look to 2010 or 2011, which are Holmes' two best years for conception. If a baby does not come during 2010 or 2011, she may put off having another child indefinitely or simply decide that one child is all she desires.

Jennifer Lopez, LEO, July 24, 1970 & Marc Anthony, VIRGO, September 16, 1968
This couples' charts indicate the rumors of a pending divorce are true: things are not going well. Anthony's chart shows he is the one feeling the greatest dissatisfaction. The planetary pressure he is under now is unusually strong, and 2009 will be even worse as Uranus and Saturn continue to test his strength in all aspects of his life. Think of it as astrological mid-life crisis, which happens only once every 29 years: Things get better for Anthony in October 2011.
When under pressure, Virgos tend to get even more perfectionist than usual and there is some indication that Anthony's first instinct is to closely control his wife's actions and decisions, never a good idea when dealing with a fiery Leo. While his chart indicates that the couples' twins have been a great joys and it's unlikely he would want to leave, the tensions seem so strong that coping might be best done alone. Lopez, the Leo, came through a hard time from mid-2005 to mid-2007, and she's now free from her demons.
Saturn is testing Lopez and Anthony's love for one another at the same time, and finances keep coming up as an area of disagreement or concern. Astrologically, these two have a very strong business association: When they are together, profits expand enormously. A lunar eclipse in Leo on February 9 will push Lopez to make a decision about her future.
This full moon lunar eclipse will fall exactly on Lopez's Mercury, ruling her chart income, wealth and possessions, Mercury also rules contracts, so something will be finalized around that date -- very possibly a division of property. Lopez is in a far better situation astrologically for seeing a good financial resolution -- this divorce may prove to be quite expensive for Anthony. The positive part about this split, if there is one, is that it will be amicable -- they will remain good friends and close business associates.
