For some, the holiday season isn't complete without a cookie swap!

Whether you go all out and have an official Holiday Party centered around the "swap" or invite a few guests over for coffee and cookie collecting, this get together is a wonderful way to share gifts from your kitchen and spend time with friends.

Spice up your cookie swap with these ideas:

1. Serve a pot of mulled cider right from the stove for guests to enjoy and to fill your home with a fragrant aroma.
2. Provide cookie plates, holiday tins, or festive bags for guests to collect their cookies.
3. Offer little party favors such as cookie cutters, coffee or baking trinkets like measuring spoons.
