If you're not already familiar, Etsy.com is an online bazaar of homemade crafts -- supercute indie crafts, not the old doll- with- crocheted- toilet- paper- roll- cozy- skirt variety that were always found on old ladies' toilet tanks. (Although they do also sell vintage items now, if that's your thing.)
On Etsy, each crafter/vendor operates her own virtual shop (anyone can; it's like eBay in that way), and whenever a shopper does a search, say for "reindeer," up will pop dozens or hundreds of results from different crafters. Especially when you search for something like reindeer, since rustic wildlife motifs have been the rage.
It's like an online version of the holiday craft fair, but it's all year long, and you can find lots of good deals, or even commission your own personally-designed crafts to be made by someone with more skill and/or time than you may have with Etsy's Alchemy program. I highly recommend Etsy for handmade gifts that are often one of a kind. Now, a preview of some of the crafters' handiwork.
